On Sept 8th Amy Ruth came to earth and surprised her mother because she was a girl. After all brothers and then two sons she thought she might be surrounded by guys but Heavenly Father knew that Amy needed to come and break the streaks of boys. Grandma Baker was also delighted. We hadn't had a girl in the Baker family side for over thirty years.
These pictures take us back to that time. Of course it was football season when Amy was born and dad would tell the two great pieces of news that we had a girl and BYU beat Texas A&M.
That might be why Amy is so BYU through and through. We have a few memory pictures here.
She came just 18 months after Jonathan her brother and they were great little playmates all through the growing up years. Then Amy had a big brother Rob who always made things fun.
Amy has been a great addition to our family and we love her and want her to know that she is a bright spot in our family tapestry
