This week was busy because of transfers missionaries coming and going. We also had one less senior couple in the office because the Simes had a son in law pass away and they went home for the funeral. We also had a chance to visit our investigator in Seivereville she is one that has cancer. She looked a lot better growing a little hair back. We asked her to read the B of M. We also went with a family in our ward to see the synchronous fireflies. We went up into the Smokey Mountains nation park to a camp ground and waited until 10:00 pm it has to be really dark. Then the lights from these fireflies make it look like little Christmas lights throughout the brush and trees of the forest. It is pretty amazing to see. This happens only in Tennessee and China. They go off and then on. So it is dark and then the forest lights up and then they go off and then back on. We could take a picture but they don't show up to well but if you google synchronous fireflies it will tell you about them and they have pictures. The drive through the forest was beautiful. It is a beautiful forest and national park. We are having a couple from our ward come to dinner this week. He is not a members but she is a member. She is the one that said in her testimony once that she has told her husband she plans to go on a mission so he either has to join and go with her or die so she can go. She is the gospel doctrine teacher in the ward and for her work she started a etiquette school for people in business and she goes all round teaching manners and etiquette to adults. Her husband plays guitar in a church rock band. Their son goes to BYU I. We are then invited this week to Brother Henningson's house for dinner. He is a older man that lives alone but loves to cook. He was a chef. He wants to feed us with the young missionaries. We'd were suppose to have FHE with a family tonight but they had to cancel on us. We are teaching difference families in the ward. This helps us get to know the family and they us. Plus it helps them out because we bring the lesson. We teach them about why the Book of Mormon is so important in conversion to the gospel. We do an experiment and we teach them how the Book of Mormon pictures can teach non members. They just have to show the pictures and give brief explanation of each picture and you have simply taught the restoration lesson.
Well I am going to make this short. I wish ya'll a great week. Thank you for writing to us and keeping in touch with us. We love hearing from you. Love mom Grandma and Sister Christensen

I think Jon is a little older than Anderson, but I don't know. As his mom, you would probably have a better idea of that since you were there and all. :o)
