New York Trip

Dear Family and Friends,
We are so lucky!  This past weekend we were able to get special permission to leave the mission to go to New York to be with Grayer (Susan's oldest) for his baptism.  I was privileged to perform the baptism and confirmation for him.  We got there on  Thursday afternoon and then did some activities with Susan and her boys on Friday.  Saturday was Grayer's 8th birthday so we had a party for him.  Grayer's other grandparents, the Gilchrists, also came to Rochester to participate.  We all went to Church together on Sunday and then had the baptism Sunday evening.  Susan served ice cream sundaes for refreshments after the baptism.  We were so blessed to be able to be there.  We flew back to Knoxville on Monday to get back to our usual missionary service.  We love you all.
