I forgot to answer some questions that Jon's family wanted to know so I thought I would tell everyone.
1- biggest adjustment to mission life?
Dad says not having s shop to fix things
Mom says realizing you can get homesick even when you are old
2- what we miss about Idaho
Dad says straight roads with shoulders
Mom says being able to go anywhere without worrying about getting lost and to many people I miss little town life
3-what life as a mission president is like. Briefly. They sacrifice much to come out especially when they have kids still at home.  They live in a home that is not there's not their furniture not their tools or kitchen things. Not their yard. The house is treated like a church property. They have people take care of the yard and anything in the house.  The president is gone all the time very rarely is he in the mission office.  He does a lot of traveling to see and train the missionaries. He gives lots of talks and lots of interviews and makes lots of decisions about missionaries and the work they do.  He does mostly training.  He teaches the missionaries how to use the tools they have to do the work and then he lets them meet the goals they set as a mission. I talked a little about that on the Facebook page.
4- what we like about TN. The people we have met in the office our great and we have done some fun things with them already. They kind of become our family.  We ar starting to get to know the ward.  We had FHE with our bishop and his young family last week and this week we are going out to dinner with them as couples. They have three darling kids.  Would we meet these people if we were 't in TN. Nope!  We do like the place we swim at. It is a very nice fitness complex and we have enjoyed being able to continue the exercise we are use too.  We think we will like the spring here and it is right around the corner. South side flowers we'd coming up. Daffodils inFebruary! We love ya'll. Tell next week keep doing the right things at the right time and the right experience will come your way.
